Planning Halloween activities at home can turn out to be a lot of work. You spend weeks searching for the perfect costume, buying the good candy—only having to return to the store on Halloween night to buy whatever is left over because you ATE all the good Halloween candy—planning a party, building a haunted house, or both! Classic overachievers like ourselves often over-plan and then find themselves too exhausted to enjoy the fruits of their labor; let’s make this year different and plan a Halloween vacation to Bend. You can still play and frolic, but you won’t be inclined to overdo it!

Monster Dash 5K and Little Monster Mile, Athletic Club of Bend, 61615 Athletic Club Drive

Those Halloween treats can add up, so why not be pre-emptive and burn up the extra calories before you eat them? This Monster Dash 5K and Little Monster Mile isn’t just good for you, it’s spookily fun as well! Wear your scariest costume (that doesn’t interfere with your running or vision), your best running shoes, and hit the road! The Little Monster Mile allows your kids to participate in the fun as well! The Spirit of the West exhibit has been known to feature some spooky sights and sounds; are you brave enough to enter?
