October is one of our favorite times of year here in Bend, Oregon. The trees are all aflame with the shades of autumn, and once October hits, that means it’s time for Halloween activities! It’s the perfect time to come if you want to get involved with the community and spend some time both outdoors and indoors. Here are some of the events we’re most excited for this year:

Embarking on an adventure to see all the unique features on the Bend Roundabout Art Route is a great way to ensure that you see the whole city. Take your time and enjoy the various Halloween decorations around the city and all the lovely fall colors of the local foliage. The great thing about this activity is you can do it on any day, at any time you please, from any starting point. Just pick up a map at any brochure stand in town and return to Bend Visitor Center at the end for a prize! If you don’t get to see all 23, make sure you at least see the “Ghost” sculpture, in the spirit of the season.
