Bend Brew Bus

You may have heard that Bend is the craft beer capital of Central Oregon, but did you know you can visit the incredible breweries in town on an exciting bus tour? You sure can with the Bend Brew Bus that will take you to all of these local watering holes so you can enjoy them all without driving. Here is the kind of fun you can have with the Bend Brew Bus:

Breweries and More

You can enjoy a taste of the Pacific Northwest craft brewery scene when you book a tour with the Bend Brew Bus. However, not only can you visit the local craft breweries, but the brew bus will also take you to local distilleries and cideries making it one of the top best things to do in Bend. These artisan watering holes produce all of their own craft beers, spirits, and cider. The Bend Brew Bus lets you explore all there is to drink that is made right in Bend!

Daily Brewery Tours

Central Oregon is the beer mecca of the state so jump on the Bend Brew Bus for an unbelievable experience. Your daily brewery tours are available any day of the week from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, year-round. This gives you four hours to visit several breweries from the area. Each brew bus rider is provided transportation to each venue, behind the scenes access to the local breweries, light appetizers at one of the stops, award-winning tour guides, and of course beer tastings. You will be picked up and dropped off at a single location in Bend making it easy for you to start the Bend Brew Bus.

Pair it with the Bend Ale Trail

Have you heard about the Bend Ale Trail? This city sponsored activity provides you with a “passport” to collect stamps from each brewery you visit. Once you collect enough stamps, simply return the passport to the Bend Visitor Center to receive a free prize!

When the tour started in 2010, there were only six breweries on the tour. Today the Bend Ale Trail has more than two dozen breweries on their tour plus several “drinkable diversion” breweries. You can get a paper passport at the Bend Visitor’s Center or get the free Bend Ale Trail app for your smartphone. Either way, collect stamps for each brewery in each of the “territories.” There’s a prize for each completed territory and a bonus prize for finishing all seven territories. Each of the territories has a unique feel, including The Old Block, The Riverlands, The Brewer’s District, and The Badlands. November is the “official” Bend Ale Trail Month and means another bonus prize when you complete the trail.

Bend’s Drinkable Diversions offer an alternative to craft beer, with spirits, cider, wine, and kombucha. Get stamps from any seven of the Drinkable Diversions listed on the Trail passport and you’ll earn a special tasting glass.

There is no better way to collect enough stamps than by riding on the Bend Brew Bus! With no worries about a designated driver, you can enjoy collecting the stamps and especially tasting some of the brews Bend has to offer. Each Bend Beer Bus Tour visits different breweries each trip to make it easy for you to collect every stamp.

Spirit & Beer Tours

Bend Brew Tours is operated by Wanderlust Tours and has several other beer and spirit-related tours to try besides their popular Beer Bus Tour.
