Bend, Oregon may not be the biggest town in Central Oregon, with only 87,000 residents. Even being on the smaller size for population, Bend continues to be a craft beer paradise with several world-class breweries located here. Visitors may want to check out all of these incredible local establishments during their stay. The best way to do this is with the Bend Ale Trail! This city-sponsored activity provides you with your “passport” to entertainment as you collect stamps along each stop on the trail. Here is what you can enjoy on the Bend Ale Trail:
Get Stamps to Earn Rewards
The Bend Ale Trail is not only an exciting pastime for adults but also helps you collect special prizes for the more breweries you visit. Can you think of another city-sponsored event that encourages you to visit more breweries? We didn’t think so, and that is why Bend is so special. Your passport will collect stamps at each brewery you visit. When you collect enough stamps, simply bring your completed passport to the Bend Visitor Center for a free souvenir. If you visit 10 different breweries, your free gift will be a commemorative Bend Silipint. The dedicated craft enthusiasts who visit at least 18 different breweries will grab the Silipint and a fun Bend Ale Trail bottle opener. Enjoy incredible craft beer while winning some free swag to go with it!
Breweries to Visit on the Bend Ale Trail
As we mentioned, Bend is full of craft breweries with incredible craft beer made right in town. In total there are 22 breweries in Bend with other surrounding cities adding up to 31 options for the entire Central Oregon area. We recommend checking out Deschutes Brewing, named after the glorious Deschutes River right outside of town. Other incredible breweries include 10 Barrel, Cascade Lakes, Three Creeks, and Boneyard. Keep in mind that only the breweries located in Bend will qualify for the Bend Ale Trail. Fortunately for you, most of these breweries are located just blocks away from one another. Make a stop by the Bend Visitor Center when you get to town to pick up your Bend Ale Trail passport!
