Industrial-Chic Brewpub in a Laid-Back Setting

Housed inside of an old transmission plant, Crux Fermentation Project brews quality craft beers using unique, non-traditional techniques. Open fermentation, barrel aging, leveraging, and decoction mashing using a myriad of experimental hops and wild yeasts create exceptional beers.

The Crux Brewery has over twenty of their own high-quality beers on tap. Try flavorful beers like Crux Stout, Cast Out IPA, or Doublecross Dark Belgian-style ale. Put back a Half Hitch imperial mosaic IPA, Crux Farmhouse or Play Wave northwest pale ale. Or savor a French Connection experimental imperial IPA, Bert Scotch ale/wee heavy, PCT Porter, and more.

You can visit the tasting room at Crux Fermentation Project from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Mondays, 11:30am to 9:00pm on Tuesday through Thursday and Sundays, and 11:30am to 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Crux Fermentation Project’s food menu includes items like sandwiches, bruschetta boards, Caribbean jerk wings, pretzels, figs wrapped in bacon, cheese curds, soups, salads, and bread pudding.

You can also book a tour of Crux Fermentation Project’s brewery and tasting room. The project offers tours of the brewery on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons. Over the course of these forty-five-minute tours, visitors to the brewery learn about the brewers’ use of wild yeast strains, whole leaf hops, open fermentation, and barrel-aging to produce the incredible beers served at Crux Fermentation Project.

A handy tip for visiting the Crux Fermentation Project: you will have difficulty parking right next to the brewery. We recommend that you park at the overflow parking next to Spoken Moto, or park on Colorado Avenue and walk to the tasting room. Crux Brewery is a fan favorite.

You’ll find the brewery located at 50 SW Division St., Bend, OR 97702. You can also reach Crux Fermentation Project by phone at (541) 385-3333, or by email at info@cruxfermentation.com.
