If you’re looking for some indoor sites to see in Bend Oregon—whether as a respite from all the outdoor fun or a necessity due to rain—Bend also offers many great indoor attractions for you to check out. Read on below for some of our favorites!
High Desert Museum
Explore the art, wildlife, culture, and the living local history of Oregon at the High Desert Museum. There are up to 12 new exhibits to check out every new year, so even if you’ve been before, you’ll want to go again. This year come and see Animal Journeys: Navigating in Nature, Desert Reflections: Water Shapes the West, and Moon Country: Oregon and the Space Race. General admission is $17, students/seniors are $14, and children are $10.
Wicked DIY Candle Lounge
This is one of the more creative ways you can fill an afternoon while on vacation. Come and create your own one-of-a-kind candle! Pick your mold, color, and style, then plan your design. Everything is up to you, and kids as young as 5 can participate in the fun too. The candles you make will be ready the next morning for pick-up. Prices here are only $5 per candlemaker per day, while the prices of the candles themselves vary.
Vector Volcano
While away the afternoon at a good old-fashioned arcade. Vector Volcano has all the classic arcade and pinball machines from the 80s and 90s. They take special care to keep everything in mint condition so you can enjoy these games as they were enjoyed in their heyday. This arcade is open to minors, but also serves craft beer for the adults! All-day tickets for unlimited playtime are $15, or you can get in for an hour for only $5.
Tower Theatre
This iconic theatre in the heart of downtown Bend is almost 80 years old. Enjoy both classics and modern hits this summer with shows ranging from Muppets in Space to Rogue One. Concerts play here as well, so make sure to check the calendar for your visit to Bend. See what’s playing, because chances are, you won’t want to miss it! Ticket prices vary depending on the show.
Mountain Trampoline Park
You’ll want to set aside an entire morning or afternoon for Mountain Trampoline Park. This is an endlessly amusing indoor recreation experience that the entire family will love. There’s no age limit on fun. Ticket prices are $12 for 1 hour, $17 for 1.5 hours, and $20 for 2 hours. Note: If you love discounts, head in for Kid’s Night Out on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month for 3 hours of jump time at only $24, which also includes pizza, drinks, and games!
