Bend offers a nice balance of well-known national retailers as well as locally-owned boutiques for great shopping. Our two main shopping areas are in Downtown Bend and in the Old Mill District.
Downtown Bend
Park your car and enjoy walking through Bend’s downtown, where historic buildings now house a dynamic array of locally-owned shops, art galleries and restaurants. Check out Patagonia, Lulu’s Boutique, Local Joe’s, Foot Zone and Silverado Jewelry Gallery for apparel and accessories. Kids will enjoy the Leapin’ Lizards Toy Company and Wabi Sabi, followed by a sweet treat at locally-owned Goody’s soda fountain or Powell’s Sweet Shoppe.
Old Mill District
Once the site of the world’s largest timber mill, the historic Old Mill District is now a vibrant outdoor shopping, dining and recreational hot spot in Bend. With large retailers like REI, Banana Republic and the Gap, as well as locally-owned shops like Ginger’s Kitchenware, Vanilla Urban Threads and Wonderland Toys, a walk around the Old Mill District is a pleasant way to spend a few hours shopping.
